Edits on AU entry
Absolon,
I have assigned a class at Anderson University (eBusiness) the project of adding meaningful and substantial information to the Wikipedia entry on Anderson University (Indiana). The guideline they were given was that they could add nothing that could not be substantiated elsewhere, or that was not worthwhile (nothing trivial). One student has already complained that his information on the athletic mission statement has been removed. Could you share with me the guidelines on what you flag and remove? I can pass this along to the students and keep them from wasting time (yours and theirs) with entries that don't matter. Their deadline is to be finished by next Tuesday (the 14th).
Thank you for your time and commitment. Sincerely, Emmett Dulaney Assistant Professor of Marketing Anderson University 199.8.13.128 (talk) 16:57, 7 October 2008 (UTC)Eadulaney

- No problem. The content I removed today was copied directly from the university web site which is a violation of Wikipedia's rules on copyright. The How to edit guide is a great resource for those interested in making contributions. Happy editing. -- Absolon S. Kent (talk) 17:06, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
