In December 2007 images appeared on the internet of a redeco of Cybertron Landmine done as a homage to Generation 1 Crush Bull. This toy is a Walmart store exclusive. 1
Whatever Grindcore is doing, he loves to do it loud. Cybertron was always a pretty noisy place, what with everyone revving their engines, and then the war. Earth people really know how to make noise fun though. Human heavy metal is way cooler than the shock-pop he listened to in his home city of Vos. It's easy to find him on any construction project – just follow the incredibly loud music.
According to Hasbro officials at Botcon 2008 the Walmart exclusive redeco toys were originally to be sold under the Transformers: Universe label, but Walmart requested it's exclusives be part of the movie toy line, so they were repackage in movie style packaging.
IDW Publishing
In "Reign of Starscream" issue #4 Elita One, Grindcore, Signal Flare, and Warpath were captured by the Decepticons and forced to build a new Allspark at Simfur. In issue #5 Starscream sacrificed the sparks of Crankcase, Elita One, Grindcore, Signal Flare, and Warpath to bring his new Allspark Cube online.
